Weekend across borders
Braved the crowds and a sickly fever to catch Man U in action at Bukit Jalil stadium over in Kuala Lumpur :)
I think watching sports overseas is pretty fun. The masses are always crazier and countries have their own funny stadium rules that simply won’t work at all when you have a massive mob. We weren’t allowed to bring any bottled beverages into the stadium, probably for fear that we will throw them at the soccer players. So everyone obediently disposed off their bottles at the ticketing entrance. THEN………like only few metres away, all round the circumference of the stadium gates, vendors are seen selling all sorts of drinks to the crowd….through the fences! Talk about rules man. They are meant to be broken :D
So that’s soccer for the weekend. Plus the unbelievable 3:2 score. The Malaysian goal was pretty nice though.
Not to forget, shopping at Pavilion and the ultra humongous 1Utama, dinner at Chili’s, meeting up with YY’s friends, and my first taste of Malaysian Airlines.
